Explanation of Cause

The Footswitch was not pressed long enough during the self-test procedure.

Correction

Keep Handpiece clear.

Press and hold Footswitch again.

Keep pressing the Footswitch until the message “Handpiece test copleted- Release the Footswitch “is displayed.

Release the Footswitch subsequently.

Explanation of Cause

The Footswitch is not detected or defective.

Correction

Plug the Footswitch into the assigned socket. If the error message is displayed again, replace the Footswitch.

Max. permitted ultrasonic process time read in from the RFID Tag exceeded.

Check the implant and sutures carefully. Replace the implant if inspection indicates insufficient implantation.

Too much pressure is applied to the Handpiece during implantation.

Cause Correction

Check the implant and sutures carefully. Replace the implant if inspection indicates insufficient implantation. Replace the implant if needed.

Restart the device.

The temperature inside the device is exceptionally high (75C) and approaches the limit.

Cause Correction

Finish implant insertion and, subsequently, allow the device to cool. Verify that the device is not placed in the vicinity of other heat sources.

The RFID Reader is not responding, and RFID Tag cannot be read.

Cause Correction

Restart the device.

Once about 90% of the estimated End of Life is reached, this error message is displayed.

Cause Correction

Press the Confirmation Button to continue.

Contact Distributor/ Surgical Fusion Technologies GmbH to order a replacement of the SupraFuser Ultrasonic Generator.

The SupraFuser Generator recognizes the number of – on/off cycles of the Devices.

The estimated End of Life of 5000 on/off cycles is reached.

Cause Correction

Press the Confirmation Button (Pos.4) to continue.

Contact Distributor/ Surgical Fusion Technologies GmbH to order a replacement of the SupraFuser Ultrasonic System.

Explanation of Cause

Resonance is frequency is not found.

Cause Correction

Sonotrode is not properly attached.

Verify the Handpiece assembly and make sure the Sonotrode is tightened firmly using the Wrench key.

Once the Sonotrode is tightened firmly, press the button to repeat the self-test.

Explanation of Cause

The pressure applied on the Handpiece during Implant insertion was too high.

Amplitude was not sufficient to place the implant.

Cause Correction

Press the Confirmation Button to repeat the insertion.
